The Law of Specificity is a training principle that states to improve a particular component of physical fitness a person must emphasize that component in training and stress the physiological systems used to perform certain activities to achieve specific training adaptations.
We must train for what we are trying to perform. A runner does not become a faster, more skilled runner without running. They run often and practice techniques known to improve running performance. Consistent training with correct body mechanics will help them overcome habits that hinder their running ability. San Antonio Busy Bodies applies these same principles to fine and gross motor activities. We teach the tools for quality handwriting and control while providing handwriting training. We break down and practice our gross motor skills applying specific adaptations that will result in a child's success. Our students Move to Learn to Move!
